It was a busy day at the feeders at the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife
Refuge Visitor's Center, in Bloomington. Interesting winter passerines:

-10 Brown-headed Cowbirds (8 males, 2 females)
-1 Fox Sparrow
-1 male Oregon-race junco

The only new bird for me at these feeders this year was the brief appearance
from the Fox Sparrow. The cowbirds were present at the feeders almost the
entire time I watched (~2 hours), although never all at the same time. The
junco is shyer than the others and only made two appearances.

Good birding!
