5 Pine Siskins, 12+/- Common Redpolls at a feeder on the only N/S street in Brownsville. (1:30 PM Feb. 4.) Pool 8 of the Miss. R. is entirely ice & snow-covered, as well as the main (shipping) channel, and the tiny patch of open & very turbulent water below the rollers at L&D 7 just north of I90 is devoid of waterfowl.
