Hey folks,

I've enjoyed marvelous looks at Lincoln's, Clay-colored, Chipping, Harris', and
Field Sparrows in and around my yard. When they come to the porch feeder I can
view them from 3 feet :).

In the field I've enjoyed singing Savannah and Vesper's Sparrows. Lot's of
Yellow-rumped Warblers flitting through the trees. Perhaps a visit to Kilen
Woods tomorrow will yield other transients and returning breeders from the
neotropics.

I located a new Bald Eagle nest for Jackson County and its probably in its
first or second year, judging by the still-dirty tail edge of the male of the
pair. Should be that bird's first or at most second season of breeding.
