The Townsend's Solitaire was present over lunch hour today at Ann Lake/Sand Dunes (however, distant flight looks only - what a distinctive floppy tail flight!).

Generally one now has to hike into the spruces/deciduous trees right of the parking lot to view it.

A Common Raven was calling during the hike.

Unlike past winters, no Bohemian Waxwings have been observed in the Cedar flock.

Good birding to all and sundry!
