While doing some guiding with a couple from Iowa we counted 22 Long-tailed Ducks at Agate Bay in Two Harbors. Good to see spring is near because a few of the Long-tailed Ducks were nice breeding plumage males.
Another spring sign was at WI landfill, the arrival of Ring-billed Gulls. Saw several Glaucous Gulls in the pouring rain at the landfill.
