Daryl will introduce you to the basic biology of this insect-devouring aerobatic bird, the current plight of the Purple Martins in Minnesota, how individuals can help this species, and how the Purple Martin Recovery project is joining forces with others across the state of Minnesota who are striving to increase and stabilize the breeding population of Purple Martins. When: Please join us at 7:00 pm at the Bloomington REI store to socialize over coffee and cookies from 7:00 to 7:30 pm. A brief business meeting and the featured speaker begin at 7:30 pm.
