We are adding a new MOU Field Trip this fall:
"Warbler Quest"
Saturday, September 4th, 7:30 AM
Covering Kathio and Hennepin State Parks and the west side of Mille Lacs
Lake
This trip will chase fall warblers in northern Mille Lacs County. Some
years this has been highly successful (one year, 25 species); in other
years, that Saturday can be very frustrating (10 or less). Either way, the
quest will be enjoyable, and who knows what unusual bird might show up
during migration?
Join us at 7:30 AM at Kathio State Park's parking lot. State park sticker
required (you may wish to obtain in advance, often times the office is still
closed this early in the morning).
Trip limited to 20 participants. The trip is free, although gas help for
car pooling is always a good idea.
I will be leading this trip, my cohort in crime (Nate) will be at college
already:(
