Again this morning there was at least one Buff-breasted Sandpiper at the north
end of White Bear Lake (Ramsey Co.). It was part of a mix of shorebirds that
included a Black-bellied Plover. The viewing location can be reached by
parking on a side street where Northwest Ave. and Grand Ave. meet Highway 96.
Take the public trail to the lake. As the day goes on, this shorebird spot may
receive some foot traffic.
