Hi All-- The highlight of the Red Wing (Minnesota) Christmas Bird Count for Erika and me was a Pileated Woodpecker eating Hackerry fruit. The woodpecker put on quite a show as I snapped photos. It fed on the outer twigs of the tree and often lost its balance. I have posted several photos on my blog:
