Alyssa DeRubeis and I were able to relocate some of the recent sightings around 
the Twin Cities today.  Here are some of the species we observed.

Scott County
American Kestrel - along highway 13
Wild Turkey - along highway 13 

Wilkie Unit & Blue Lake water treatment plant
Trumpeter Swan
Gadwall
American Black Duck
Canvasback
Redhead
Ring-necked Duck
Lesser Scaup
Common Goldeneye
Hooded Merganser
American Coot
Belted Kingfisher

Veteran's Park
Tundra Swan

Schroeder Acres Park
Wood Duck
Redhead
Hooded Merganser
Morning Dove
American Robin
Dark-eyed Junco

Dakota County
Rough-legged Hawk or Red-tailed Hawk - There was a dark morph Buteo, on one of 
the tall light towers in the SE corner of the intersection of Hyw. 13 & Hyw. 
77.  The bird was viewable from the parking area next to the U-haul Trailer 
company.  From the views we had, we were unable to confirm which species it 
was.  If anyone has observed this bird and can confirm its identification, 
please let me know.

Hennepin County
Minnesota Valley NWR - Bloomington Visitor Center
Red-bellied, Downy, Hairy and Pileated Woodpeckers, at there feeding station.

Ramsey County
Rough-legged Hawk - Observed at the previously posted location and sitting on 
one of the pipes as mentioned.
Northern Shrike - Long Lake Regional Park - near the parking area for the beach.
Townsend's Solitaire - Previously posted location, South of the parking area 
for Vadnais/Snail Lakes Regional Park, on CR F.
