This morning 5 horned larks were seen flying over the Anoka - Washington line in Columbus, a few miles south of TH 97. A little later 100 or so very noisy Red-Winged Blackbirds were seen in Carlos Avery WMA a half mile west of the Headquarters building. Roads in Carlos were in decent winter driving conditions. Early signs of Spring?
