After reading about terns at French park, I drove there at 1545. They were not there in the high winds. However, driving east on Co 9 I looked at the small Lost Lake to the south of the road and noted a number of gulls resting on the water.
The terns previously mentioned were there, with a Franklins gull thrown in.
