I searched the Coon Rapids train station and a nearby neighborhood street from 3:30-4:45pm today for a possible Phainopepla that was reported yesterday (see Anthony Hertzel's Rare Bird Alert for the week.) I did not see nor hear it during my visit. There were very few berries on the crab apples.
