This Thursday, June 9, at 7 p.m., Bell Museum will host an encore
screening of Ghost Bird, a documentary exploring how the possible rediscovery
of an
extinct giant woodpecker helped a small Arkansas town reverse its fortunes
and launched birders and scientists on a wild search for the "Lord God
Bird." Admission is free to University of Minnesota students with ID, $5 for
Bell Museum and The Film Society members, and $8 for general public. Event
details are found at _http://www.bellmuseum.org/_
