Hi All--In response to recent posts, I checked out ebird ( http://ebird.org/content/ebird/). I must say I was impressed. If you are searching for particular birds, ebird will be a big help. I have begun reporting my birding results to eBird. I have also added an ebird widget to my blog (http://dantallmansbirdblog.blogspot.com). You can access it by clicking on the eBird tab on the right-top tab. I THINK this widget shows rare birds reported in Minnesota as well as all birds reported within 50 km of Northfield during the last two weeks. (Formatting this widget into my blog took ALL my computer programming abilities--which are not many.)
