A white-throated sparrow was outside the House of Charity on 7th avenue in downtown Minneapolis yesterday morning at 630 AM. Was singing from a treetop. Did not have my binoculars, but could easily make out the black eye line, white above the eye, and distinct call. On the way to work today, it wasn't there again. Curious if this is an overwintering bird or a new arrival. Sam Ives
