** ** Kate Crowley and Mike Link will share their story and the insights gained during the 145 days that they walked on the shores circling **Lake Superior* *. It was an adventure and a dream come true, as well as a means of bringing attention to freshwater, - an increasingly critical and diminishing resource. As grandparents, they also wanted to leave a legacy and example for the next generations to pursue their dreams. **** Mike Link was the founding Director of the ****Audubon** **Center**** of the North Woods and retired after 38 years. Kate Crowleyis a naturalist and writer who worked at the Minnesota Zoo for 8 years and then completed her career at the ****Audubon****Center****. Together they have written 14 books and shared many adventures in their 25 years of married life The meeting is from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Beth El Synagogue.
