Late yesterday afternoon, at the Wargo Nature Center in Anoka County, I
observed a bird which puzzles me. It was a small ( I estimated it at no more
than five inches), mostly grayish bird with a dull, white supercilium and a
faint hint of yellow on its flanks. It had two wings bars with one of them
hardly noticeable.

My first thought was Red-eyed Vireo, but the wing bars quickly ruled that
out. Checking Sibley, it seemed that the closest I could come was a Bell's
Vireo, but even in this warm weather that does not make sense. Any thoughts?
