I imagine the Rusty Blackbird in the Showcase hasn¹t quite worn off a few of its rusty fringe feathers-I¹ve seen Red-wings also with rusty tips. Other birds (English Sparrows for instance) achieve their black bibs as the white fringes abrade exposing them. Others will know more than I but that would be my guess.
