Linda Whyte kindly posted my sighting of the egrets that Dave Bartkey reported
previously. Thanks, Dave and LInda!

To add to the post, if you are driving east on Hwy 60 from Faribault, CR 12
becomes CR 13, and Elmore Ave. will be on the north side of CR 13. Elmore is a
gravel road. Go up the hill, past the farm buildings, to a fenced-in area on
your left. When I was there, the cows were lying down and grouped close
together, with the egrets (I saw 2), which were walking around the cows,
feeding on the ground. The egrets' peach-colored breeding plumage looked
lovely in the sunshine we had today. The egrets were in the same location when
Linda and her husband, Rob, arrived later.
