On Saturday I will lead the annual MRVAC Warbler Weekend Bird Hike in Hok-si-la. This traditional field trip has been held in May for more than twenty years. The field trip is free and open to everyone. The paths are wide and accomodating. And the birding is generally excellant. Bring lunch and you can join us afterward as we walk down to Sand Point, if the water is not too high. Lots of walking and good company. And, no need to call for reservations.
We will meet at Hok-si-la at 7am. Hok-si-la is right off of Hwy 61 between Frontenac Station and Lake City. It is well marked.
