A couple of days ago, a Dickcissel was reported along the Greenway in East Grand Forks, Polk County. I finally had a chance to check it out today and there were at least 6, possibly more based on what I was hearing, singing atop tall weeds on both sides of the bike path along the southend Greenway near the Red River. This is the first Dickcissels I've heard reported in our area since I started birding 3 or 4 years ago. Seems to be a good year for Dickcissels! Sandy Aubol Western Polk County East Grand Forks, MN
