[mou-net] Parakeets

My wife and I had a parakeet at our outside platform feeder today. 
Someone obviously lost it somehow (out of the cage and flew out the door 
when it was opened).  Any chance of a member of this species surviving 
fall weather in Minnesota?  It is obviously finding acceptable food in 
our feeder, but it flies away before we can rescue it.  My wife is very 
experienced with parakeets, but if she can't catch it, I don't think 
anyone can.
