I posted the sighting today as its the first I've had at my home (I'm kind of
house-bound) this winter. I get lots of them in other seasons (they come to my
niger feeders) but not much in the winter.

We have had many Mourning Doves all winter with sometimes as many as
15 to 20 at a time. It seems every winter we get quite a few that
literally hang out in the trees and eat at our feeders. I feel lucky!
