The evening grosbeak flock had really thinned out since Friday here at the
resort;
due to the very cold nightly subzero temps -40 and -35 last week. This morning
with a light snow falling & more moderate temps the Evening Grosbeak were ready
and waiting for the fresh bird seed around 8:00 AM. Counts were around 17 of
them. They could not have been very far away. 3 gentleman had stopped by and
were also able to see them.
