As I was watching for migrants at Freedom Park in Prescott, just before noon a
Townsend's Solitaire flew up the bluff and landed in a nearby oak. I had
excellent scope views for a few minutes as it perched quietly, it then flew off
into the neighborhood. I drove around for a few minutes attempting to relocate
it, without success, but there are plenty of crabapples in the area.
I saw very few migrants in the previous two hours, a few Sandhill Cranes and
Ring-billed Gulls.
