The large amount of water in the fields south of town has yielded a  
plethora of water fowl.
The wetland off Northfield Blvd. south of Hastings (cross street 210th) had 
 Pintails, Gadwall, Shovelers, Widgeon, Sandhill Cranes, Swans, Coots, etc. 
I'm  sure with a scope you'd find more.
 
The pipit was on the south side of the 210 street. 
 
180th marsh is opening up but most of the waterfowl were far from the  
road. We did find 4 hen pheasants skulking around in the shrubbery.
