Early this morning in Dakota County at the Great Western Industrial Park just north of Randolph west of MN. 56 in a pond there were 11 Snow Geese and 3 Ross's Geese, Pectoral Sandpiper, and Greater & Lesser Yellowlegs. It was fun to see both Blue and White phase Snow Geese in such a small flock with the Ross's so close. Flocks of Snow Geese were vocal and flying overhead.
