There was a single American Avocet on the south end of Wahibo Marsh this evening at 7:45pm. It can be easily viewed from county road 30.
This is the same marsh that produced two White-faced Ibis in late April. This former sod farm is turning out to be a very nice addition to the county. It is located just west of Lake Waconia at the junction of county roads 30 and 10.
