This afternoon I found a Connecticut Warbler among 13 warbler species at Kilen Woods State Park. This bird and most of the others were in the woods adjacent to the river down the hill from the picnic shelter. There was also a Wood Thrush singing in the same location, and a late Red-breasted Nuthatch was also a bit of a surprise here.
