Total of 17 species foraging in the sand at just 2 sites on the L Superior side of Park Point: 12th St access (14 species along a 100-yard stretch) and at 31st St (11 species visible by the platform). All of them in the beach sand by the water, not in the grass or shrubs in the dunes. Did not have time to bird the Recreation Area, but maybe others can provide a report from there. Kim Eckert
