Jeff Stephenson and I spent part of a day in Faribault county today.
Notable was seven golden-plovers at the sewage ponds west of Wells. 2 were
on the ponds seen from 560th Av south of 180 st; 5 more seen from 560th Av
north of 180 st. There may have been more as they were on the down slope
from the road. We did not cross fence. Also present were Black Terns,
Wilson's Phalaropes, Horned Grebes, Northern Shovelers, Franklin Gulls, etc.
