Be extra careful about this owl. It's been a bit spooked. And the man on the snowmobile who scared it off took some verbal abuse from an angry photographer before she realized he owned the land. He left in a huff to call the sheriff. I went to his farmhouse to apologize ( though I didn't know the verbally abusive woman) and explain about the Snowy Owl and the email blast that will bring more birders to the area.
