For those traveling close to Detroit Lakes or coming up for the Festival of Birds next week be aware that there has been some drawdowns by the F&W Service exposing some great shorebird habitat. The Service has drawn down three ponds on waterfowl production area immediately east of Hamden Slough NWR. The ponds are along the east side of CR 104 just past Hesby Lake.
