I tried sending this email last night but apparently it didn't got through. Here it is:
I thought county listers might be interested in some shorebird spots I found today in northern Isanti County. There were a few flooded fields along County Road 4 (413th Ave.) between Heather St. and Holly St. There was also a flooded field further up Heather St., going north from CR 4. Today I found: American Golden-Plover (field on north side of CR 4, just west of Holly St.) Semipalmated Plover Killdeer Spotted Sandpiper Greater Yellowlegs Lesser Yellowlegs Stilt Sandpiper Baird's Sandpiper Least Sandpiper Pectoral Sandpiper Short-billed Dowitcher One other note: almost all of the locations seemed to be draining by either a stream or piping, so who knows how long they will last... ---- Join or Leave mou-net: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=mou-net Archives: http://lists.umn.edu/archives/mou-net.html
