A friend of mine participates in the annual Duluth deer bow hunt. On Monday
evening, he dropped off the carcasses of a large buck and fawn, along with the
entrails. I scattered them in my field. When I got home yesterday afternoon,
there was not much left. At least 5 Bald Eagles were eating on the carcasses,
along with many Ravens and Crows. This morning, my wife and son spotted two
Timberwolves taking care of what was left. Unfortunately for me, I was already
at work.
