For the third day in a row I have been privileged to get very close and watch a rough-legged hawk hunting near the Amish Furniture House on Old Superior Street near McQuade Harbor. Think it might be the same bird each day!
I think this bird likes this particular area because, unlike a few more hundred yards up the hill, there is bare ground and no snow along Old Superior Street.
