The shorebirds that Bill Marengo reported yesterday at the Sleepy Eye WTP's yesterday are still present today for the most part. The vast majority of the shorebirds are Dunlin, White-rumped Sandpiper and Semipalmated Sandpiper. There were 13 American Avocets, 1 Ruddy Turnstone and 1 Sanderling. The Hudsonian Godwit was not seen today but there were 2 Long-billed Dowitcher and 1 Pectoral Sandpiper that were new additions. 15 species of shorebird in all.
