A Yellow-billed Cuckoo has been calling for 3 of the last 4 days in the
northwestern section of Seven Oaks Park (the oval), just south of the
intersection of East 34th Street and 47th Avenue South in South Minneapolis. I
had a definitive look at its large white tail spots this morning, and saw the
rufous wing patches as it flew. Also a Swainson's Thrush in the same area this
morning, singing softly.
