2 White-winged and 1 Surf Scoter (all fem/imm types) and a Western Grebe were present on the north end of South Heron Lake in Jackson Co. as of approx 1110 AM. At least 14 waterfowl species present. A scope is absolutely required to view these birds and scoping conditions are abysmal with NW winds today.
