I filled the Old Vermilion Trail bird feeders this morning for the first time this winter season. The temperature was 25F a bit north of Duluth. Ice is forming on some ponds, and snow can not be to far away ... even with this crazy warm weather! If you are birding the Duluth area this winter, consider a stop at Old Vermilion (nice dirt road). The feeders are about 15 miles north of town. You will find more information and a map via my blog at http://www.365DaysOfBirds.com/
