I was finally able to find a scoter in my home county late this afternoon. It was at Quarry Lake Park in Shakopee. This may be the only large open water besides blue lake treatment plant and the mn river in the county. The park is actually not open yet. It is a brand new park opening soon. It is off Innovation Drive west of Canterbury Road (near Valley Fair). Many ducks, geese, swans present as well as a cormorant and a pied billed grebe
