Earlier today there was a Red-necked Grebe on Lake Calhoun in Minneapolis.
Although a large portion of the lake is frozen there is still plenty of
open water hosting a good variety of birds. It was nice to see a
first-cycle Glaucous flying around and standing on the ice.
