A fun afternoon at Prairie Marsh Farm, going from overcast to rain and then sunshine brought out numerous first of the year birds for the farm. Harris's And Chipping Sparrows, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Belted Kingfisher, Eastern Bluebird and Barn Swallow. Also at Bolland's Slough FOY Eared and Horned Grebes. Nearby we found a site with at least 10 Richardson's Ground Squirrels. Ain't nature grand! Ken and Mary Lou
