This afternoon I was alerted to a Red-headed Woodpecker that is working over various trees around campsite 63 in Chase Point campground.
My experience with Red-headed Woodpeckers in Itasca County in May is here today, gone tomorrow--so it will be interesting to see if this one sticks around for a bit.
