Just a note: The DNR official said usually no one is allowed on the roads within the North Ottawa Impound, but, they have relaxed this rule a bit concerning recent events (bird sightings). They would prefer that drivers only go on the main 250th Str. road and the middle crossroad which means : Stay off the 2 tire track trails. Also, there has been some concern about people driving to fast to rush upon a recent sighting. When this happens it is a safety concern and it spooks the birds up. Just remember to follow good birding ethics and this spot may be reserved for future birding, and, remember the DNR is keeping close tabs on how this is all playing out. If we mess it up it may be closed off. Keep up with the good birding and have a good weekend.
