In response to Jim Robey,  I have 15 to 20 Pine Siskins coming to my feeders in
the Sax Zim Bog.  I have been here only since yesterday,  filled the feeders
and Siskins, chickadees and (yes] starlings showed up at once.  I think it
helps to have 3 inches of snow on the ground.

Siskins
Over the last several days I have noticed an increasing number of Pine Siskins
at the feeders.  They are among a large flock of Goldfinches.  Today the number
of siskins at the feeders is fifteen. Maybe and irruption year?
