I was putting lights on my deck a block from Bredesen Park in Edina when a hawk landed in nearby tall trees. I had time to get my binoculars and identified the brownish speckled back and white supercilium. I couldn’t see the belly or banding on the tail. It flew off while I was getting my telephoto. Definitely bigger than a Cooper’s or Broad winged and no shoulder markings.
