I refound the redpolls in downtown Mpls (Cancer Survivor Park at 3rd and Washington) yesterday in the morning, and again today when I went by. Probably 30 birds each time, and I'm not convinced they aren't commons with perhaps some hoary in the mix. But I'm not familiar enough with these birds to make confident field IDs. Others (Chet Meyer, I think) seemed confident that they were hoarys.
