The views are distant, and the bird was diving frequently, giving satisfactory looks only. Not as amazing as some of the closer photos taken. A scope is absolutely essential. And despite the overall warmer temps, standing around and patiently looking for the bird it was still somewhat cold. Just wanted to post an update as I hadnt seen one yet today.
